Sir William Russell Flint (1880-1969) was a member of the Royal Academy and renown in his lifetime for his book illustration, watercolors, and female nudes. In fact, his nudes are probably the closest British equivalent to those of his Australian contemporary Norman Lindsay.
This is a large format catalog of an exhibition of 31 paintings by this British artist-illustrator, with 31 full-page color illustrations and two black & white photographs--one of the artist and the other of his favorite model, a biography and a list of works in public galleries.
