A well above average, very attractive copy of this scarce book often found in quite poor shape.

360 densely packed pages of Toth artwork for the animation industry: character designs, model sheets, storyboards, layouts, and presentation pieces with commentary by Toth & McNeil. Space Ghost, Jonny Quest, Herculoids, Superfriends. Afterword by Gary Owens (voice artist "Space Ghost").

Due to copyright infringement claims from the animation studios, this publication was recalled almost upon release and pulled from store shelves. Very few copies escaped destruction.

This came from the collection of Steve Sherman, a writer,artist, puppet-maker, puppet-performer, and avid collector. Steve worked as Jack Kirby's assistant, at Filmation, and Sid and Marty Krofft, before forming his own company Puppet Studio in 1984 contributing to "Pee-Wee's Playhouse", "Men in Black 1 & 2", "Mighty Joe Young", "Muppets" and numerous other TV series and feature films.
