This limited edition reproduces the entire first volume of Alary's graphic novel: the righthand pages reproduce the finished pages in black & white prior to coloring, the lefthand pages reproduce the artist's sketches, layouts, and roughs corresponding to that page.

Unlike other Soleil's other 2B editions or other black & white editions in general, this particular 2B edition really is a record of the artist's process and choices.

On top of that, Alary's pencil drawings have an unfailing charm and beauty and this book reproduces several hundred preliminary drawings and sketches.
