A new collection--Danni's first in ten years--of her illustrations of the female figure in watercolor, ink and graphite, as well as mixed media.
Danni Shinya Luo's art is feminine and suggestive; a unique vision of sexuality, innocence and whimsy.
Danni Shinya Luo is originally from Shanghai, China. She moved to California in 1995 where she fell in love with art in grade school. After a few years of private study (and an apprenticeship with an old Chinese watercolor master Ding Ha), she was accepted into Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. She majored in illustration and graduated with honors in 2006 beginning her career as a full time artist. Shinya has assisted artists Gary Baseman and Karl Handael, and exhibited in galleries throughout North America.
