She has been chronicling her life as a freelance cartoonist turned stay-at-home mom through comic strips since early 2011. Boumeries volume 5 tells of her daughter Margot's growth into toddlerhood... and her appreciation for anime.

Boum (Samantha Leriche-Gionet) is a freelance comic artist and illustrator who lives and works in Montreal, Canada.

Boumeries is mostly about her life sharing a flat with her programming partner Pierre-Luc and their daughters Margot and Annette, working at home, juggling with everyday chores and drawing, and having absurd dreams in the meantime.
