A sharp example of the original 1968 portfolio. This is the very first Frank Frazetta Portfolio, issued five years before Middle Earth's Frank Frazetta Portfolio.
Eight double-sided 11x15 inch plates featuring 16 black & white Frank Frazetta illustrations. Includes a very clean example of the particularly scarce printed envelope. This printed envelope was also the actual mailing envelope so most examples were addressed and stamped and were often discarded.
"Opar Press Presents Burroughs Artist Frank Frazetta" was published by Camille Cazedessus, Jr., the publisher of the early and long-running Edgar Rice Burroughs fanzine ERB-dom, The Fantasy Collector (later The Fantastic Collector) and Pulpdom.
