This issue spotlights illustrators Gloria Stoll Karn, Sandy Kossin, and Hugh Doak Rankin.

Gloria Stoll Karn was a pulp magazine artist from 1941 to 1949 (producing 142 covers) and here is a long interview with her about working for the pulps.

Sandy Kossin contributes his own autobiography, with introductions by Nick Meglin and Murray Tinkelman, and numerous illustrations.

The Weird Tales cover art and illustrations of Hugh Doak Rankin are commemorated in the third spot.
