Description

This Special Issue features the work of AUSTIN BRIGGS, the masterful draftsman best known for his long career illustrating fiction and advertising in many of the nation's largest slick magazines of the 40s and 50s. As one of the founders of the Famous Artists School, his work influenced generations of illustrators.

Another great issue! With many illustrations reproduced from the original art!

This Special Issue is a great complement to Austin Briggs: The Consummate Illustrator by David Apatoff and Auad Publishing. There is very little overlap between the two books and, as usual, the reproduction in Illustration magazine is top notch.
