Enfin, il va pouvoir se la couler douce avec Isabela, sa belle-fille pourrie par la haine, qui rêvait de ce meurtre comme d'autres rêvent de leurs fiançailles.

Sauf que...

De retour chez lui, soulagé de son devoir accompli, Pep ne s'attendait pas à y être accueilli... par son épouse. Laide et bien vivante, et toujours aussi insupportable. Une découverte incompréhensible qui enflamme la colère d'Isabela, persuadée que son amant ne vaut pas un clou. Car si la morte est encore en vie, alors qui est dans le puits ? Et combien de fois faudra-t-il encore la tuer pour qu'elle ne revienne plus jamais leur gâcher l'existence?

Gore et épouvantable, « La petite souriante » ? C'est oublier le talent de conteur de Zidrou, allié aux sombres ambiances de Springer, qui nous offrent avec cet album un récit noir, une excellente spirale d'horreur et de folie. Une BD de genre terriblement grinçante, à vous filer la chair d'autruche.
