A graphic adaptation of Donald E. Westlake's first Dortmunder caper novel, "The Hot Rock" (also made into a seventies classic film by William Goldman and Peter Yates starring Robert Redford and George Segal).

Over his own misgivings, Dortmunder is talked into planning a heist to steal a million-dollar emerald from a visiting African art exhibit in New York.
