Description

A new collection of 37 paintings made for the covers of the magazine Le Fana de l'Aviation, as well as over 100 incredible pencil drawings published for the first time.

The passion and talent of Lucio Perinotto have been recognized since 1992, when he was admitted into the very exclusive group of official French Aviation Artists. His attention to detail, especially in his representation of light and reflections, adds to the authentic nature to his work.

As Alexis Rocher, editor-in-chief at Fana de l'Aviation, points out in the preface of the book, Lucio Perinotto has an immense talent for "building universes." Neither does the human dimension escape the painter's attention: "Whether pilots battling a frenzied dogfight or relaxing passengers, […] his works almost always includes such characters. Man at one with machines." Lucio Perinotto paints airplanes with a soul.
