Mystere Montrouge is a limited edition portfolio of twelve 9 x 12.25 inch color plates that together tell a wordless story. A separate text plate has a short statement by Moebius. All finely printed on textured heavy stock. In a color illustrated folder. Out of print. Scarce.

The First edition (2001) is differentiated from the second edition (2002) by the lack of numbers on the plates. The second edition added a twelfth color plate and numbers to each plate: 1 through 12. Both portfolios use the same paper stock. Neither edition is signed or numbered and the limitation is unknown. Both rarely appear.

"To coincide with an exhibition held at the Salons de l'Hôtel de Ville between the 3rd and 24th October 2001, Moebius released a special limited edition portfolio for the occasion called Mystere Montrouge (The Montrouge Mystery). Mystere Montrouge follows the journey of Stel (from The World of Edena) who is searching for Montrouge and after being guided by a fairy enters through a painting of it and arrives into the dreamscape of Désert "B" (of 40 Days Dans Le Désert "B")."
