Obscurcia is a horror trilogy. Alex is a 12 year old. his little sister, Nina. Their father hits the family cat with his car killing it. Of course, that night, the dead cat comes back. Attacking Alex, the cat pushes Alex through the bedroom mirror into the nightmare world of Obscurcia.

Steven Dhondt is a Belgian illustrator. Obscurcia is full of wonderful energetic action and storytelling reminiscent of Mikael Sanlaville.

From the publisher:

Obscurcia is the story of a quest in a world filled with bad memories, gigantic monsters and forgotten comforters. This is the story of a rite of passage, from childhood to the adult world.

Alex is 12 years old. He has a lot of nightmares. Maybe because his mother is gone. Maybe because his father is often absent. He must also look after and take care of his little sister, Nina. Everything was going well until that night when Nina's mind was trapped in the land of Obscurcia, the land of nightmares. In an attempt to save her, Alex will have to go to the other side of the mirror.

Alex a 12 ans.
