A classic French space adventure strip that ran from 1945 though 1973. Poivet was one of the great French BD artists with a fine ink style.

The international crew of the spaceship L'Esperance defended the Earth from alien enemies and interplanetary catastrophies.

Clearly modeled after Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers, it has the feel of a great 1950s or 1960s Dell sci-fi comic.
