Roberto de Angelis began his career in the 1980s, working on sex-and-violence titles like Splatter and Mostri. Later he moved over to Sergio Bonelli Editore, where he became the main cover and interior artist for the Nathan Never series.
In this scarce monograph (in English, Profiles: Roberto de Angelis, Neoclassicist) Mauro Bruni provides an overview of de Angelis' career with copious sample pages. A color section presents a portfolio of illustrations, cover art, unpubished pages, and personal work. Checklists by Antonio Vianovi list the artist's comics and illustration credits.
