The artist's statement:
"This exhibition catalogue is the result of a long spiritual and psychological process of 'reconnection' that has become necessary to me. But ultimately, it is the beginning of a series of devotions made to the timeless and ageless figure of The Goddess Mother: Mother Nature. The iconography of this exhibition draws inspiration from shamanism, geometry, pre-Christian myth, parietal art and abstract expressionism; and these clues and signs can be used to decode these portraits. I have built each composition cautiously and on purpose."
The Daniel Maghen Gallery marks its commitment to Jean-Sebastien Rossbach by publishing this beautiful book, the exhibition catalog Mother, with his latest creations.
