Description

This Kickstarter Edition is signed by the artist on the title page and has a special illustrated bookplate with the supporter's name written in by the artist (in this case it is the family of an Emmy-winning television producer).

A collection of the best from two years' worth of weekly ink drawings created by Greg for his own personal amusement.

"For those blessed with being able to eke out a living as artists, the practice of art to that end can quickly become work. You have to shape the art to the demands of whatever work requires of it, and after a time, those requirements and the fiscal demands can easily make you forget the joys of the original act of creating that put you on this path in the first place. Art becomes work. As an answer to this, Greg Ruth began The 52 Weeks Project two years ago in an attempt to begin the work week with a simple act of play, and to codify this by committing to do this each and every week for a year. He never missed a week, and after the tremendous momentum and support from that first year, he swiftly continued for a second term."

This artbook was designed and created entirely by Greg and contains over 120 pages of ink drawings from the project, many never before seen in the regular series. It includes a special foreword written by Ethan Hawke.
