Description

The Carl Barks Library is the ultimate archival collection of Carl Barks' justly famous duck stories.

This set reprints long format Donald Duck stories from Four Color #9-223 (1942-1949). These are the classic adventure stories ("The Mummy's Ring," "Sheriff of Bullet Valley," "Lost in the Andes," "Frozen Gold") that inspired George Lucas and numerous others.

Other classic stories include "Pirate Gold" Barks' art debut on Donald Duck and "Christmas on Bear Mountain" the first appearance of Uncle Scrooge.

These volumes are packed with extra bonus materials including articles, interviews, previously unpublished artwork and duck paintings in color!

Special features in this set include Barks storyboard drawings from unproduced Disney cartoons "Morgan's Ghost" and "Northwest Mounted" and an essay by Thomas Andrae.

Published by Russ Cochran and Bruce Hamilton.
