From 1989, an early deluxe omnibus hardcover edition collecting The Dark Knight Returns, Batman Year One, and Wanted: Santa Claus Dead or Alive. With an introduction by Richard Bruning, an appreciation of Miller's Batman by Alan Moore, and Notes by Miller. This collection, leatherbound, with raised bands, all edges gilt, was only sold in Walden and B. Dalton bookstores.
