A beautiful hardcover edition of the original Rocketeer graphic novel. With blue cloth bound covers and a dustjacket.

A bit of mystery surrounds this copy as it does not match any known published version of the book (and over the years we've handled them all).

The dustjacket indicates this is an Eclipse hardcover edition, however the only known Eclipse hardcover edition had pictorial boards that copied the design of the paperback and was not issued with a dustjacket.

The book itself tells two stories: the spine reads Eclipse Books, but the copyright page indicates it is published by Grafton (Grafton is a well-known British publisher and published the British softcover edition).

So we will surmise this is the only known copy of a British hardcover edition of Dave Stevens' classic.
