Author/Artist Patricia Lyfoung has worked as an assistant story board artist for Totally Spies! and Martin Mystery at Marathon Animation (where she also worked on character creation). In 2005, she published the first volume of the Scarlet Rose series through Delcourt in France. Since then there have been twelve French volumes. This English edition comprises the first two books in the series.
