Taking place nearly a century before the events of A Game of Thrones, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms compiles the first three prequel novellas to Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire, and feature a young, naïve but courageous hedge knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire called Egg.

This came in two editions: 250 perfect-bound copies signed by both George R.R. Martin and Gary Gianni and 750 saddle-stapled copies signed by Gary Gianni.
