The great western epic by Jean Giraud (Moebius) under the Pseudonym "Gir" spans 28 books from 1963 to 2005. The prequel stories here--about a young Blueberry during the Civil War--were created and serialized in 1969.

Published in French in three albums: La jeunesse de Blueberry (1975), Un yankee nommé Blueberry (1979), and Cavalier bleu (1979).

These American editions include pages and panels omitted from the French albums.
