Reality and hallucinations are jostling in Laureline Mattiussi's graphic adaptation of four short stories by the Argentinean writer Carlos Salem. Drawn from the same inkwell as the great Argentinian masters, precisely Alberto Breccia and José Munioz.

Poe, a magnificent loser, wastes away in smoky bars and back rooms, thinking only of one thing, Lola. Incapable of declaring himself to this woman, the reality around him continues to crumble, he goes astray in hallucinated adventures: grotesque robberies, long wanderings in the company of ghosts, or even an embrace with a whimsical angel ...
